Do your friends refuse to visit art museums because you can’t just see the painting – you have to analyze all the details? Do you walk on your tiptoes more than your flat feet? Have you ever ended a conversation with the words, “Exit stage left?” Do you find yourself naming the fonts used on a restaurant menu or a movie’s opening credits? Perfect. You express your passion through art. ASC wants to give you the skills, resources, and community to let your self-expression take off.
The ASC is designed to integrate the firsthand observation and study of Australian culture, history, religion and politics together with experiential service learning and formal instruction in the arts.
The Australian school year is divided into two semesters, Semester 1 (Feb.-June) and Semester 2 (July-Nov.).
